You can get documents (issued by the government or private organisations) legalised by attaching an ‘apostille’ (stamped official certificate). An Apostille seal can only be granted by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

Power of Attorneys, Affidavits, Personal Letters: Any official “private document” to be authenticated IN PERSON (book an appointment in advance) by the Consulate must be an original document or certified copy with original seal and signature in person. Make sure the signature is legible. If it is not, please write out the full name of signatory. Include a copy of your Identification (or bring an ID if applying in person).

UK Commercial Invoices, Commercial Documents and Marriage Certificates: the signature must be endorsed by a local Notary Public in the UK, Ireland or Iceland.

University Diplomas: please contact the relevant university authorities to send an email directly to us stating the names of the signatories. We shall then proceed to liaise with them and authenticate the diploma, as the case may be.

The legalisation process may be completed within 3- 5 working days.

FEES and PAYMENTS: payable by Bank transfer to the Consulate of Panama in London. We do not accept personal cheques or cash.
